Goodbye after fifty years

Agent Dave Jellett has retired from his roles at Staniforth Motorcycle Wholesale and Midwest Marketing after 50 years in the motorcycle trade.

Jellett started his motorcycling career at then leading parts supplier W.E.Wassell in 1972 and moved to Sheffield-based Staniforth Motorcycle Wholesale in 1982. He was also an agent for Midwest Marketing, starting with them in 1994.

Staniforth’s director, John Sheldon, told BDN, “We wish Dave all the best for his retirement and thank him for the years of dedication he has given to the motorcycle trade”.

Dave Priddle will be taking on Jellett’s customer base for Staniforths. Priddle commented: “Dave was a really nice guy, always professional, courteous and looked after his dealers to the hilt. I’ve been lucky enough to know him since I started out as an agent 22 years ago. I’m sure his dealers will miss him as much as he will miss them. Priddle represents LS2, R&G, Central Wheel Components and now Staniforths Motorcycle Wholesale and can be contacted on 07900 682775.
