Hazard perception test uses CGI

The hazard perception part of the motorcycle licence theory test is updated from today with computer generated imagery (CGI), replacing video clips.

The CGI clips show the same situations as the filmed clips – everyday road scenes and at least one developing hazard, with one clip featuring two developing hazards – but are clearer on the screen and include updated vehicles, roads and surroundings to reflect modern day driving.

The way the hazard perception part of the theory test works is unchanged.
