huge ride-in at mcn festival

The MCN Festival of Motorcycling is doing its bit to stimulate motorcycle sales and to encourage new blood into riding. The festival takes place at Peterborough Arena over the weekend of 14-15 May and will kick off on the Saturday with a mass ride-in, allowing bikers to try TomTom navigation gear.

The ride-in will depart from the Little Chef at Thickthorn Service Area, Norwich (post code NR9 3AU), on the intersection of the A11 and A47, at 8am, departing 8.30am. Participants will receive a free hot drink and bacon bap at the Little Chef (subject to availability).

TomTom has provided 50 TomTom Rider sat navs, with a preloaded route into the Festival, for loan to ride-in participants. Anyone interested in taking advantage of this offer should email [email protected] prior to the event.

Once at the festival visitors can test ride a range of new machinery and see star guest Colin Edwards lead Team USA in the second annual MCN Transatlantic short-track trophy, with classic race bike parades between rounds. Trials legend Steve Colley will be performing top tricks in his legendary stunt show and there will be bargains galore on the huge retail zone and new autojumble area. or call 0871 230 1108.

BSB racer Billy McConnell will lead the official TomTom ride-in to the MCN Festival of Motorcycling
