INDIAN MOTORCYCLE POISED TO ACCELERATE INTO 2026

Indian Motorcycle has an exciting 2026 ahead, expanding its iconic Indian Scout lineup with new models, fresh paint options, new hires strengthening the UK team, as well as celebrating the 125th anniversary of the founding of Indian Motorcycle in 1901.

From world firsts to the world’s fastest. Indian Motorcycle was born to break boundaries.

After its founding in Springfield in 1901, Indian Motorcycle saw half a century of unparalleled growth on the back of trailblazing innovation and continues to push those boundaries in design, performance, and innovation today.

From the successful introduction of the Thunderstroke V-twin and Indian Chief, which powered the brand back onto the roads in 2013, the Indian Motorcycle lineup has expanded to meet the diverse tastes and needs of riders across the globe, expanding to over twenty models across three key platforms – Indian Scout, Indian Chief, and the flagship PowerPlus baggers and tourers.

All iconic names that shaped Indian Motorcycle in the early 20th century and continue to honour that legacy into the 21st.

By understanding this legacy, retaining the brand’s characteristics, and capturing the design and styling aspects of its most iconic models while delivering exceptional performance, Indian Motorcycle customers now surpass 200,000 across 85 countries, supported by more than 600 dealers.

Now, 125 years on, Indian Motorcycle is poised to accelerate.

For 2026, Indian Motorcycle is expanding the legendary Indian Scout lineup to offer even more riders the chance to experience a signature blend of design, performance, and heritage.

Drawn to its iconic design, over 90% of Scout buyers are new to the brand, and with its lightweight, nimble handling and low seat height, nearly a quarter of all Indian Scout buyers are new to riding.

The Indian Scout Sixty, reintroduced to the UK market in 2025 with the Scout Classic and Scout Bobber, is Indian Motorcycle’s most approachable lineup, designed for accessibility and affordability. Powered by the SpeedPlus 999cc liquid-cooled V-Twin, class-leading low seat height, and low centre of gravity, the Scout Sixty family ensures comfort and accessibility for riders of all sizes and skill levels.

For 2026, the Sport Scout Sixty introduces a more aggressive and sporty option alongside the Scout Sixty Bobber and Scout Sixty Classic with a factory-custom look featuring mini ape handlebars, integrated risers, sport-style seat, and quarter fairing.

Adding to the SpeedPlus 1250cc Scout lineup, the new Sport Scout RT builds on the timeless style and proportions of the classic Indian Scout, introducing a modern, aggressive design that blends form and function to deliver iconic style and spirited performance

It adds all-new Locking Rigid Saddlebags, offering over 37 litres of combined space, keeping your gear dry and secure. Whether you’re commuting, cruising, or on a weekend getaway, the top-opening design maximises cargo capacity.

Also for 2026, Indian Motorcycle is providing even greater access to all Scouts and Scout Sixtys with seven of the eight models being quickly and easily convertible to A2 specification by official dealers.

In addition to the new Scout models, Indian Motorcycle is offering exciting new paint options to elevate the aesthetic across the 2026 lineup, including exciting colour refreshments to Indian Motorcycle’s newest PowerPlus Family.

Headlining the 2026 colour palette is the all-new Black Crystal and Super Graphite for the 101 Scout and the all-new Black Crystal with Black Metallic and Championship Gold Accent, making a bold statement on the Chieftain PowerPlus and Indian Challenger.

Closer to home, Indian Motorcycle UK has been gearing up for 2026 with recent new hires to enhance support for its dealer network and to assist with the recruitment of new dealerships.

Joining Robert Gregory as District Sales Manager is James Tonks, bringing years of experience to the role, having worked in technical, dealership, and network support positions within the motorcycle and powersports industries since 2007, and Gina Evans, who joins in the role Marketing Specialist, having worked for the MCIA for over 20 years and managed the marketing, membership & communications for both MCIA and the newly rebranded MCL (Motorcycle Live).

Kicking off the UK’s 2026 season is, of course, MCL at the NEC in Birmingham, 15-23 November and Indian Motorcycle will be bringing the thunder to the show with a full lineup of models on display, including the new Sport Scout RT, plus eight models available for demos in the Elite Test Ride Zone.

Based in Hall 3, Robert, James, Gina & existing UK Dealers are looking forward to welcoming Indian Motorcycle dealers, Indian Motorcycle Riding Groups, customers and showgoers, and are excited about the opportunity to talk to new dealer prospects. So make sure to pay them a visit on stand 3B20 in Hall 3
