LANGEN GETS MSVA RECOGNITION

The limited-edition Langen Two Stroke project has come much closer to fruition, after a prototype bike successfully achieved Motorcycle Single Vehicle Approval (MSVA) certification on 7 June.

Langen Two Stroke chassis number 101 is now approved for UK road registration, leaving a clear VIN slate for the planned 100-strong production run destined for customers.

Langen owner and founder Christofer Ratcliffe took the bike down to the test centre himself, following two years of development by his team, to create a new two-stroke machine capable of such road-legality.

Understandably pleased, Ratcliffe said: “Getting the MSVA pass is a massive step forward for us and it means a huge amount of progress has been made on the engineering. We are now in the process of registering the bike and getting final preparations done for it to appear at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Then we should be able to arrange some media testing after that.”
