Leatt becomes King in the UK

2015 looks to be the year that Leatt, the protection company, launches a host of innovative products for the off-road market. Together with Apico, the UK’s sole distributor of the off-road safety products, it has employed a UK-based brand manager, David King, to take the safety message to the dealers in conjunction with the Apico sales force, training staff and supplying information to support dealers.

The initiative will also focus on King attending various off-road events, from schoolboy meetings to national championships, to ensure people have their Leatt products fitted correctly, to spread the word about Leatt products and answer any questions people might have.

“I’ve been passionate about these products for some time, having sold the products for almost five years for Apico. When the opportunity arose to take the message to the UK off-road public, I could see how much of a difference it would make, just preventing a single serious injury is so important in a sport we all love that has its risks. By decreasing the risks involved, the sport can only grow and encourage more people to get involved.”

King started his new role on 1 September, and dealers who wish to take advantage of this new service should speak with their Apico sales representative to arrange an initial consultation. Race organisations and promoters should e mail [email protected].

Vesty UK Ltd and its brands Apico, Apico Factory Racing, Raceline and Evolite are trademarks of Vesty UK ltd.
