Leading motorcycle care brand Muc-Off has brought and end to its deal with Oxford Products as its UK distribution partner after a 12-year relationship and is offering independent motorcycle retailers the opportunity to open direct accounts.
“Our Dealer Direct Programme will transform how independent retailers can benefit from stocking Muc-Off products, and will include a wide range of incentives as well as access to products and promotions historically limited to specialist retailers,” explains Muc-Off chief executive Alex Trimnell.
“As a company of motorcycle fanatics, we have an emotional connection to independent retail, largely because that’s how the Muc-Off journey began 27 years ago. The industry landscape is evolving rapidly, and we want to continue supporting the best specialist retailers in the business. And we’re confident that the new savings and incentives being offered will give these stores the best chance of success.”
The programme is split into three tiers with varying levels of support available, depending on the degree of collaboration to which retailers are willing to commit. At the top are Ambassador Stores. Their benefits include extended credit terms, stock rotation to avoid clearance, and even free product for staff. They will also be the first stores to receive new products when they launch.
