New motorcycle series launched on ITV

An eight-part documentary series, following the Honda TT Legends team through the 2012 racing season, will hit primetime TV starting Monday (4 February) on ITV4 at 8.30 pm.

The series, titled TT Legends goes behind-the-scenes with exclusive access to the team as they take on some of the world’s toughest motorcycle races. It follows star riders, including John McGuinness, Simon Andrews and Cameron Donald, as they compete in the Endurance World Championship at events such as the Le Mans 24-hour and the Suzuka 8-hour races, and at selected road racing events, including Isle of Man TT and the North West 200.

New Manx documentary

The following night on the same channel (at 8 pm) a new one-hour documentary on the Manx Grand Prix is to be screened. Called Grand Prix Racer and shot before and during last year’s MGP, it features some of the leading characters and race officials involved with the races, which this year celebrate their 90th anniversary.
