P&H stages charity ride-out

Crawley-based multifranchise dealer P&H Motorcycles is running a unique Help 4 Harry charity ride-out to Brighton on 24 August, aimed at 125cc bikes and new riders. Participants will be rewarded with goody bags from KTM and Honda, and there will be a special prize draw for VIP hospitality for two at the Brands Hatch British Superbikes round. KTM UK has lent the dealership ten new RC125 machines to lead the ride.

A £10 registration fee kicks off this fund-raising effort with proceeds going towards the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and IIH UK (Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension). These charities are very close to the heart of P&H, as staff and friends of the dealership suffer from the two illnesses. The Help 4 Harry Fund was set up by Sue and Tom Barnley for their son Harry, who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Commenting on the ride-out plan, P&H Motorcycles owner Paul Searle said: “It’s exciting to be putting on an event that’s geared up for the small-bike rider, a group that’s often overlooked. Donating to charity is one thing but putting on an event that may make a difference to a charities’ awareness is something else, especially as we are directly affected by them here in the dealership.”
