saltire motorcycles plans grand opening

Saltire Motorcycles is preparing to open a huge extension to its Edinburgh operation.

Owner Calum Murrray has invested £100,000 in the project, which he describes as Scotland’s first motorcycling village.

Most of the extension is to accommodate Alba Customs, Saltire’s Indian and Victory section, and will also provide an expanded workshop. The grand opening will take place on 24 April to coincide with the arrival of the Polaris roadshow.

The next phase of the development work – upgrades to the Yamaha and Suzuki showrooms and expanding the used bike and clothing sections – should be ready by the end of June.

Saltire also sells Norton and recently celebrated 10 years with Suzuki.
