smc celebrates first decade, and sells 10 bikes

This month marks the tenth anniversary of Sheffield Motorcycle Centre, which celebrated at the weekend (18/19 June) with a well-attended party. The multi-franchise dealer stocks Yamaha, Suzuki, Ducati and KTM.

Owner Frank Hayes said the turnout had been brilliant, particularly on the Saturday, and SMC had managed to mix business with pleasure by selling 10 bikes – “not bad for a weekend”, he told BDN.

A local rock band, Jester, which includes SMC’s service manager, Kev French, in its line-up, wowed the crowds and Frank’s daughter Frankie, the company’s accountant, presented a surprise anniversary cake. Frank’s step-daughter Helen also attended along with the team at SMC.
