Special edition Bonnie to be unveiled at Triumph Live

Triumph has announced a one-off run of 50 special edition Bonneville T100s. The bespoke bikes will mark the 50th anniversary of the iconic 1964 International Six Day Trials (ISDT), the gruelling bike challenge which saw all four members of the Triumph Factory Team compete and ride to gold medal victory.

On sale for one day only at Triumph Live (12 July), the commemorative motorbikes have been developed to incorporate a number of features and styles to replicate the original 1964 T100s, the bike of choice for the era’s most competitive and testing trial races.

Alongside completely customised bodywork depicting an image of the ISDT gold medal, the distinctive motorcycles have been emblazoned with an original image of the 1964 Triumph Factory Team winners. In keeping with the nostalgic theme, the bikes feature the original Triumph logo – which hasn’t been replicated in production for over 30 years, as well as original signatures from each of the four riders.

With a further nod to its heritage, the 865cc T100s have each been fitted with classic adaptations; including the addition of cross-brace handlebars, engine sump guard, a stylistic number plate design, centre stand and a bespoke seat with integrated toolbag, a key requirement for every bike entered into the ISDT event.

To see the sales of these iconic classics, three of the four 1964 ISDT Triumph Factory Team riders, along with the wife of the late Ken Heanes, the fourth rider, will be on site throughout Triumph Live. Between them, the four incredible riders won a total of 35 international gold medals throughout their careers. One of the original T100s will also be on display to the public for the first time ever, to showcase the bike’s development over the last 50 years and to reiterate Triumph’s unrivalled ISDT heritage.

With prices set to be officially announced in the run up to Triumph Live, each of the 50 bikes are now in production, with certification numbers allocated on an individual basis.
