Sportsbikeshop opens new store in Lancashire

Riding kit specialist Sportsbikeshop has opened a new outlet in Preston, Lancashire. It’s the eighth location in total for the company, joining Bristol, Reading, Milton Keynes, Leeds, Harlow, Birmingham and Boston, and the first in the North West of England. The store will be open seven days a week for customers, and offers the firm’s try-before-you-buy service, linked to its online store, where punters can have anything in stock sent to their local branch to try on before purchase, free of charge.

Sportsbikeshop’s MD, Chris ‘Bernie’ Winters said, “Our Preston store has been a long time in the making and we were really excited to finally be opening the doors. This will be our first store in the North West, and our eighth in the UK – a plan that we’ve been working on since 2016. If our other stores are anything to go by, it should be a big success. Not only can customers drop by, we also offer our ‘Try on or Buy’ reservation system – with this we’re pretty sure we’ve found the best way to link the full choice of the UK’s biggest biking website to a local store.”
