Trago2Wheels attracts the female customer

Trago2Wheels, the motorcycle dealership opened by Trago Mills, is aiming to increase sales in its second 12 months while WK, Sinnis and Honley have been added to the line-up. The Devon discount store began selling Lexmoto and Pulse early last summer.

The showroom, part of Trago’s main site, sold 140 bikes in its first 12 months, and plans to move 200 in its second year, along with increased sales of Buffalo, Oxford and Ixon clothing.

Interestingly,Trago chairman Bruce Robertson told BDN that the store had attracted a high proportion of female buyers (40 per cent of the total).

However, most customers are paying a specific visit to Trago2Wheels, rather than being casual footfall from the main store next door.

Full story in the November issue of BDN.
