Triumph registrations up, market share down

Triumph is celebrating its most successful year ever, despite a reduction in market share compared with 2013.

The Hinckley manufacturer recorded a record volume of 8128 registrations, but saw overall market share fall from 8.19 per cent to 8.03 per cent.

Triumph says registrations for the Bonneville Scrambler have soared by more than 84 per cent compared with the same period in 2013, the company says, while the Tiger 800XC saw a 24 per cent rise and the 1200cc Explorer XC more than 54 per cent.
