The clock is ticking down for the 2023 Adventure Bike Rider Festival (ABR), which kicks off on 23 June. Organisers are still announcing special guests – including some you might not immediately associate with the Adventure Bike world. The latest is genuine Isle of Man TT legend John McGuinness. The 51-year-old 23-time TT winner is appearing on the Honda stand – he’s an ambassador for the Japanese firm and will be speaking about his career and meeting fans at the Bridgestone Campfire stage and at the Honda display.
McGuinness will debut at the ABR Festival alongside a packed roster of biking and racing superstars, including top off-road rider Chris Birch and adventure travel icon Ted Simon.
Bryn Davies, head of marketing at ABR Festival, said, “The word ‘legend’ is thrown around so much these days it’s almost lost its meaning. But John McGuinness is a true legend of motorcycling in every sense of the word, and to be able to welcome him to this year’s ABR Festival is huge. He’ll be speaking on Saturday evening and taking the time to meet visitors at the Honda stand; I can’t wait to see him at Ragley Hall later this month.”
The ABR Festival is almost sold out, but three-day weekend and day tickets are still on sale. It takes place at Ragley Hall in Warwickshire on June 23-25. More info: https://www.abrfestival.com
