Welsh dealerships required to close

Motorcycle dealers in Wales will be forced to close on 24 December for a minimum three-week period as the country steps into Tier 4 restrictions.

All non-essential retail will close on the evening of Christmas Eve, meaning dealer’s showrooms will have to shut up shop and return to offering click and collect sales only. Cafes, restaurants and pubs follow suit from 18:00 GMT on Christmas Day.

Service and repair workshops will be allowed to continue as they are classed as essential services. Dealers that offer both workshop and retail facilities, will again have to close the retail showrooms to consumers.

The new restrictions will apply throughout Wales.
