The full name is the Dainese Ignite 2 TX VR46, which is a bit of a mouthful, but it does inform you that the design is a tribute to nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi, featuring his racing number on the chest, shoulder and hood. It’s classed as a mid-season jacket, and is made from a windproof material with a fleece lining, but the only waterproof bit is an internal pocket for phone/keys/wallet. It’s got CE level 1 Pro Armour fitted at the shoulders and elbows, elasticated wrist gaiters to stop drafts, and a fastening system to attach it to jeans. Only available in black with neon yellow logos, the Ignite VR46 has an SRP of £299.
