Enginehawk jackets

Celebrating its first anniversary, UK clothing brand Enginehawk has launched a range of new jackets including, for the first time, options for female riders.
A brace of leather jackets kicks off proceedings – the Renegade is a classic leather biker jacket complete with diamond quilting and a lancer-style front while the Revolver gets its inspiration from cafe racer culture and mixes full grain leather with “jersey-like” textile under the arms for added comfort. Both jackets have CE AA certification, in part thanks to the lightweight Rheon level 1 active polymer armour fitted at the shoulders, elbows and back. They come only in black, sizing goes from S to 2XL, and each retails for £399.
The Jett is an armoured hoodie-style top with a water-resistant nylon shell which incorporates Spandex in the mix for added stretch. Diamond stitched full-grain leather patches add a decorative element to the shoulders, and the hood has a fold-flat design to keep it flush when not in use. It has the same Rheon armour fitted as its leather siblings and is AA rated for abrasion resistance. It comes in sizes S-2XL for an SRP of £349.
