Oxford’s new Hamilton and Byron gloves offer very different levels of protection from the elements.
Designed for summer use, the Byron is a modern-styled short cuff glove with a goat leather palm, ventilated mesh across the back of the hand, and a distinct lack of any insulation whatsoever. It is CE-approved and incorporates a floating rigid knuckle protector, hook and loop adjustable cuff and plenty of reflective detailing. It comes in blue/red or grey camo for an SRP of £34.99.
On the other hand, there is the Hamilton, a full-leather winter glove with a Dry2Dry waterproof membrane and Primaloft insulation. It is made from goatskin leather with padding on the palm, fingers and cuffs, and has a bonded PU knuckle protector and a twin hook and loop fastening for the cuffs. The Hamilton comes in black or brown for an SRP of £69.99.
