hjc presents oxford products with award

Andrew Hammond, MD of Witney-based Oxford Products, was presented with an award by helmet-maker HJC on 7 July to mark a two-decade relationship between the two companies. The presentation took place as part of the 80th birthday celebrations of HJC chairman W K Hong, which were held at the HJC-sponsored MotoGP round at the Sachsenring in Germany.

Hammond said: ”We are extremely proud to be part of the global HJC family and it’s an honour both to be invited to help celebrate Mr Hong’s 80th birthday and actually to receive an award ourselves. And to top it all, English rider and new HJC ambassador Cal Crutchlow achieved a podium on the day! What a day.”

Oxford was one of the first companies HJC worked with in Europe. A press release read: “After two decades of a successful and harmonious partnership, HJC has become market leader in the UK and in addition has achieved the same in Europe and is the No 1 choice for motorcyclist all over the world.”
