LIVEWIRE PLUGGED IN AGAIN

Harley-Davidson seems to have over-reacted, by immediately suspending production and deliveries of machines to customers, when an apparent defect showed up on its LiveWire electric motorcycle’s home-charging system.

The company has now admitted that the fault was exclusive to just one bike, so it’s business as usual. In a statement, Harley said: “Temporarily stopping LiveWire production allowed us to confirm that the non-standard condition identified on one motorcycle was a singular occurrence. After completing rigorous analysis this week, we have resumed LiveWire production and deliveries.”
