HomeNEWSAnother step up for Via Moto

Another step up for Via Moto

Fast-growing northern dealer chain Via Moto is moving its original Sheffield-based business selling Piaggio Group brands from 2000sq.ft Shalesmoor premises to a palatial 12,000sq.ft showroom on the Yorkshire city’s Shoreham Street. The new site will accommodate a much bigger range of stock and also include a Suzuki franchise alongside Piaggio products.

Established by owner Matthew Gilder in 2012, Via Moto has since expanded into Derbyshire with Honda and Kawasaki dealerships, respectively located in Chesterfield and Clay Cross. Annual turnover has risen to £5m since its foundation.

Commenting on this latest development, Gilder said: “While we have loved the past few years in our Shalesmoor shop, we feel this new unit and area of the city is perfect for what we want to achieve. With Sentinel Brewery just next door, Shoreham Street is rapidly becoming a more popular area of Sheffield that we are very pleased to be a part of.”
