Autojumble frenzy in Hampshire

Hampshire’s Southampton area becomes a classic autojumble hotspot at the weekend, hosting both the Netley Marsh Eurojumble and mighty International Beaulieu Autojumble.

Netley (Friday-Saturday 5-6 September) celebrates 21 years, and Beaulieu (Saturday-Sunday 6-7 September) 48 years.

Netley is a motorcycle autojumble, organised by Mortons Media Group (01507 529430, event organiser Nick Mowbray). Beaulieu, based at the National Motor Museum, is for cars and bikes and includes a Bonhams car and bike auction (Saturday 6 September).  Beaulieu boasts 2000-plus stands and 30,000-plus anticipated visitors.

The 36 bikes offered by Bonhams, including the featured scooter, range in estimate from £400 (bottom estimate for four lots) to £35,000, top estimate for a 1905 544cc Laurin and Klement V-twin. The sales starts at 1pm.
