Campbell takes over as chairman at MCI

Tony Campbell, general manager of Piaggio UK, is the new chairman of the Motorcycle Industry Association.

Campbell was previously vice-chairman and steps up after Adrian Roderick relinquished his directorship of the organisation on leaving BMW at the end of August.

Roderick served on the board of the MCI for six years, most recently as the MCI chairman.

Roderick has been succeeded at BMW by Phil Horton, who previously held the position of Marketing Director of BMW UK as well as other senior positions around the world within the BMW Group.

In a statement, the MCI said it was indebted to Roderick for his commitment to, and support and looked forward to welcoming Horton to its board of directors as the new representative for BMW Motorrad UK.
