CMC expands Clay Cross

CMC Motorcycles has expanded by adding a separate discount motorcycle clothing/accessory store alongside the main 200ft showroom at CMC Clay Cross, Derbyshire. The CMC Outlet store is proving a success both in terms of floor and internet sales, according to CMC founder Maurice Feltham, who said sales were good over the Christmas and New Year holidays.
CMC Clay Cross, a Premier Exclusive Yamaha dealership, moved to Clay Cross in March 2011. In 2012 it achieved its goal of retailing 1000 new and used motorcycles.
“It shows what can happen when a dealer and its suppliers work together to make something special and we would like to say a big thank you to our trade partners who have been a major part of CMC Clay Cross’s success,” said CMC’s Ross Feltham. “When we made the move to Clay Cross we set ourselves goals and we are pleased to say that these are becoming reality. It has been a challenge, but it’s also been rewarding.”
A new CMC website, built by Chesterfield-based Media Links, was due to be launched last month and a high profile advertising campaign is under consideration to promote CMC to a much wider audience in the UK.
