Trike test changes

Following the introduction on 19 January of new driving licence regulations (3DLD), the DSA has told trainers that a provisional licence now only covers learners to ride motor tricycles if they have a physical disability. Driving tests for three-wheel vehicles are only available for physically disabled riders.
Provisional licence holders without a disability, who want to ride a tricycle, now have to pass compulsory basic training and theory and practical tests on a motorcycle (category A2 or A).
