Graham Hardy

Graham Hardy, of Motofax, died on 14 October aged 79 following a short illness. Although motorbikes had played a big part in Graham’s life from an early age, it was not until 1977 that Graham launched his career in the motorcycle trade, when he began working for Rob Hunter and Co. as a wholesale sales rep. During this time Graham met his wife Gill, and in 1985 the couple bought and took over the running of Motofax. The wholesale company supplied motorcycle spares and accessories to a larger number of dealerships across the South of England.

As the company grew, Graham’s three sons chose to join the family business: Stewart in 1988, Andy in 1989, and Adam in 1990. In 2001 Graham and Gill retired to Spain, leaving their sons to take over the running of the business, which they still do to this day. Graham maintained a number of valued friendships with his customers throughout his life and he will be missed by a great many.
