Help the DVSA build a better MOT system

The DVSA is looking for volunteers to trial security tokens needed to validate users logging into MOT Modernisation.

The agency recently visited a small number for Vehicle Testing Stations to trial security tokens needed to validate users logging into the system. It took along three different tokens and asked testers to log in and enter test results using the tokens.

A spokesman said: “It’s important for us to get the trade’s feedback because the DVSA need to build a system that works for the trade as well as us.

“We need qualified MOT testers to volunteer for further user testing.”

Anyone interested should email their name, address, phone number, user ID and VTS number to [email protected]

“Volunteers aren’t committed or tied into anything, and if the timing doesn’t suit them in future they can decline.

“Essentially, we want the trade to have a voice in this and help us to build a new system to meet their needs and requirements.”
