Henry Cole to attend NMM Live remotely following cancer diagnosis

TV’s favourite petrolhead, Henry Cole, has announced that he is undergoing treatment for cancer, but has pledged to continue working during his recovery. The 62-year-old Motorbike Show star revealed to his Instagram followers that he has “a little bit of cancer down in me little gut,” But he also said that the cancer was found early and is treatable, with surgery planned, and he should make a full recovery early next year.

As a result, his appearances at the National Motorcycle Museum LIVE 2026 event (24-25 October) will now be virtual, via live video link and pre-recorded messages. The Henry Cole & Friends shows will continue as planned, with Allen Millyard, Guy ‘Skid’ Willison, and Fuzz Townsend appearing on stage, hosted by TT winner Steve Plater. The shows will also feature guest appearances from Steve Parrish, John McGuinness MBE, and Jamie Whitham.

The NMM and Museum LIVE team have sent Henry their best wishes during his treatment.
