infinity mail order manager wins award

Infinity Motorcycles’ mail order manager Alan Arnold has been named Employee of the Year at the Inspire Business Awards.

Arnold, who previously sold used motorcycles to Infinity, was taken on by the Farnborough-based chain in 2012 and opened its new clearance warehouse in Camberley later that year. He was subsequently tasked with relocating Infinity’s mail order department from York to Camberley and went on significantly to increase turnover for that part of the business.

“I’m massively chuffed. I didn’t do particularly well at school, so to come into a business like this and for them to realise there was something in me is such an honour” says Arnold.

Infinity managing director Rob Puttick adds: “It’s fantastic for a valued member of staff to have the recognition they deserve from some of the best businesses in the south of England. We’re all very pleased for Alan – he’s got a great future at Infinity Motorcycles.”

The Inspire Business Awards celebrate the success of local businesses in north Hampshire, an area covering Aldershot, Andover, Basingstoke, Farnborough and Fleet.

Founded in 1999, Infinity have 12 motorcycle clothing and accessory showrooms across the UK and operate a Yamaha premier dealership in South London.
