Indian goes under the hammer – and Santa car

Seventy classic cars and motorcycles worth over £14million are to go under the hammer in London on 2 December at Coys ‘True Greats’ auction and could be the ultimate Christmas presents that turn into the best investments ever.

The Christmas ‘True Greats’ sale is being held in Westminster at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Lindley Hall.

The motorcycle lots include a 1931 Indian 1300 Four Model 402, estimated at £70,000 to £80,000. The 402 is the rarest of all the four cylinder models, it also has the benefit of the factory modifications over the earlier models, making it a truly exceptional and highly collectable example of a very exotic motorcycle.

The auction house has a number of interesting cars going under the hammer including a true Santa’s car, a red 1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale 1600, estimated at £80,000 to £110,000. This brilliant car will become a great investment to any collector and Alfa Romeo enthusiast as the value of these rare examples is strongly increasing.
