PIRELLI B2B PROMISES 'EASIER LIFE FOR DEALERS'

A new online business-to-business system launched by Pirelli Moto earlier this year has been further developed to include a comprehensive tyre fitment database.

The company says its system allows dealers to order Pirelli and Metzeler products 24/7 with visibility of stock and pricing, as well as download invoices and PODs. It also acts as a portal for news, promotions and downloading marketing material such as tyre images and logos. Latest enhancement is fitment database integration, so a dealer can now simply enter the customer’s motorcycle make and model, to get all of the recommended fitments, prices and availability on a single screen.

“Our system is well-accepted and appreciated by the trade, performing favourably versus competitors,” says Pirelli Moto pricing and planning manager Anthony Fry. “And we are working hard to introduce additional features, to get more dealers activated — along with greater usage of the tool through those already with log-ons.”
