Pop-up Maeving electric bike store opens in Battersea Power Station.

Battersea Power Station, one of the most spectacular buildings in London, has finally re-opened in its new form as a multi-billion pound residential, retail and entertainment development. And one of the many flash new attractions is a pop-up store selling Maeving, the trendy British electric bike brand.

The new shop opened on 14 October, when the Grade II* listed industrial heritage site opened to the public for the first time. Maeving joined a high-end series of brands there, including Aesop, Nike, Uniqlo, Lululemon, Mango, Mulberry, Ralph Lauren and Hugo Boss. There are bikes on display, and customers will be able to book test rides at the firm’s Maida Vale or Coventry locations.

Anyone placing an order in person for a new Maeving RM1 at the Power Station store will qualify for a free accessory pack (disc lock, chain lock, bike cover) and a GPS tracking app absolutely free. The usual retail price for these would be over £200.

The temporary store will be open until 11 November. More info:
