Stolen Husqvarna found in Wales

A 2013 Husqvarna 310TE enduro bike, owned by the Italian factory and stolen from the British round of the World MX championship at Matterley Basin near Winchester, Hampshire, in August 2012, has been recovered in a Hampshire and South Wales Police joint operation. Two other 2013 Husqvarnas, a TE250R and a TE449, plus several other bikes stolen at the same time, are still missing.
The recovered 310 (right) formed part of a static display of 2013 models by Husqvarna, who had driven to the event in the factory race and promotions truck.
The trail to its recovery started when a South Wales dealer was given the bike for repair. When he phoned a Husqvarna dealer for advice and was asked for the frame number, it was identified as the stolen bike. It had been disguised by the fitment of 2010 MX plastics and wheels.
Frame numbers for the Husqvarnas yet to be found are: ZKHA 300 AADV 000029 (2013 TE250R), and ZKHA 600 AADV 000047 (2013 TE449).
