The Café Racer to celebrate opening of new store

The Café Racer, which sells vintage and classic-look helmets, clothing and accessories, has moved from Hove to new premises in Shoreham in West Sussex. The company, called Vroom by the Sea, also sells online.

“Primarily we supply to the cafe racer/scrambler/bobber market,” said owner Phil Jones. “We retail classic brands such as Belstaff, Bell, and Barbour through to new upcoming brands on the scene such as Kytone, Crave, and Maria.

“We have been around for seven years or so, having set up in a dated little shop in Hove but we have just relocated to a brand-new, bespoke-fitted shop in Shoreham, just down the road from our previous home.

“The new location gives us more space, more stock, a great new look, changing room, parking and coffee facilities. As such we’re looking to spread our wings and start hosting more events and pop-up shops for our brands.”

The Cafe Racer is hosting an invite-only evening to open the new store in Shoreham-By-Sea on 30 November. It is also hosting a launch day on 2 December.
