thieves steal rotary engine parts from brian crighton

Thieves have stolen an estimated £35,000 worth of parts, equipment and tools from rotary engine specialist Brian Crighton. The raid at his rural workshop was in the early hours of Tuesday 13 June. The haul included a Spondon aluminium frame stamped NRV-R, Dymag CA5 carbon wheels, Bitubo suspension items, Brembo brake parts, a Racetech DASH 2 console, engine and transmission components, as well as tools, welding equipment, laptops and an ultrasonic cleaner unit, all apparently carried across a field to a vehicle parked in a nearby lane.

“They must have been here for a while and were quite aware of what they were after, which was mainly parts for my new bike,” a shocked and shaken Crighton told BDN.
