Dunlop has updated its long-running Scootsmart scooter tyre with improved year round performance. A new high-silica compound gives better road grip while also improving durability, and the new tread pattern is said to shorten braking distances by up to 10%, especially in the wet. It comes in a huge range of sizes – with 75 planned for production before the end of the year – in rim sizes from 10 to 16in, which Dunlop says are compatible with more than 80% of the scooter market.
