Saucy calendar company calls it a day on live shows

Calendar publisher Crossbow will no longer be exhibiting at motorcycle shows.

The company has attended over 1500 motorcycle shows and events over 35 years, the last one being the BMF Show in May.

Crossbow’s John Winthrope says: “I have really enjoyed my show career, and more than likely know more individual bikers that anyone else in the UK, but at 68 years of age I have served my time, and am enjoying spending much more time with my family.

“We were lucky we were around when the UK show circuit was at its height in the eighties and nineties, but have sadly seen many shows decline since 2005, and with the recession further effecting shows decided it was the right time to walk away.

“Crossbow would like to thank the many regular customers who have been customers over the 35 years.”

Crossbow Calendars is now operating as an online company.
